Okay, first of all, you totally fucking melted me with the liquid sensuality of the first verse...then...you completely knocked me down with the rest of this amazingly infectious song. What's this? I'm hearing..what is that??... a lightness in Fee's vocal?? egads! hehe! This is a killer tune and I can see why its become one of your favorites. And I totally fucking love the bassline in this song too!

One of my favourites of yours, heard the first draft a while ago and this is equally as exciting and just altogether perfect to listen to. Like you say I can imagine this being a great tune to end a gig on
Some shades of Rod Stewart in places for me.. great job

That lyric first section is straight awesome beautiful. I dig the vocal style, very relaxed, natural, intimate. That beat could get me moving against my will, if I didn't already want to dance Sweety and catchy.

:lap: Wow, damn.. you did a great job on the mix here... you really 'captured' this song beautifully! you're singing is perfect, too... a bit serious at times, playful, and just damn sexy... and the music could fit the same description. I've always thought this was a fantastic song.. it's great to hear the full band, and have it captured so well. ah, and all that playing around in styereo, especially in the begining.. perfect!

I wasn't expecting that change up. I partically liked the first bit too, you may have even worked back into that and found that would fit nicely before the last chorus. I found it odd at first to hear the bass strongly positioned on the right. How when the change up comes the bass is really freaking wicked. Does well with the guitar. I found the first verse to be freaking hot!

So you’re out, it’s late, you’re tired, you’ve had a couple more than a few drinks, something’s there in the back of your mind worrying you, but you’re happy – free in the moment and happy – That’s what this songs sounds like to me.
The verse that kicks it all off is really lovely (great opening line, too), and I really like that crystalline lead guitar. Then when it kicks up a gear it swaggers in such a beautifully almost woozy way, kind of like The Replacements or Whiskeytown. It’s great and I can tell why it’s your closer. I can almost hear the cheering and applause that would come at the end

I have been listening to this one lot today and its a very uplifting song you have here and I am just blown away by the effect this song is having on me and those around me. Jessie is dancing Kristen is jumping round and my toes are a tapping.
Oh shit it ended better start it up again...
The production on this is really good and I think you get better and better in this sense with each song.
The lyrics are amazing. I love the feeling in the first verse and how it grips you into a false sense of security in a way and you are just about ready for another well down song from Fi....
And then..
Bam this take off into something else out of this world I love the timings of you singing and this is as catchy as a fucking cold. Only a lot less snotty and well worth catching.lol

I like the folk stuff I've heard so far...damn nice. That first harmonica note made me grin...but then it was normal again.
Something very beatles-y when that stacato bass and drum bit comes in with the "nicotine fingers" (at least that's what I thought you said) part.
This song is making my feet bounce a lot.
Hehe, the background "You come alive" is killer. Wow...heh, these songs are just awesome!

When you got into it, I was reminded of "Hi Ho Silver Lining" I doubt you'll remember that old one.
I can't say I know of anyone using that feel since anyway.
Cool little song.
I agree with whats been said about the lyrics, very nice.
