First of all - I love that this is a "US mix" Different mixes for every continent now?
I know I was critical of the bass level beforehand, but listening again here it actually isn't as dominant as I thought.
..or did you change it?
Love the song, this is about as anthemic as you get! I can just imagine the crowds at Glastonbury singing along!
Great performance in every way.

I think the bass is great here! It gives it a wonderful feeling without overwhelming it. And what a classic lyrics! "I don't mind cause I'm gonna make you cry"-- it!

I love this piece but must add that the bass intro does not a thing for me, partly because of the timing...I like the melody though. I like the arrangement and the ear candy, the "backup singers" are awesome.
I dunno what it is in your voice....sometimes it's just called the x factor. I love the way you sing shit.

Lol you can deadraven had something to do with this. Lyrics kick ass and the way you sing them I could see you having a conversation with someone as your singin this -not sayin your monotone thoutgh that build up and then the one line on its own kicks ass. very well done i preferred the backin vocals slightly quieter but its still powerful as it is

you've heard all I have to say about this song a hundred times now, but I'm going to once again point out that I love, LOVE your voice on this, especially during the parts where you're going back and forth with the back up vox.. you sound so very sexy. :cloudnine:

This was in its original form was an awesome song. Wow its quite a bit different to what I remember on the original. It’s a lot tighter in the production and more than a little bit well….sexy in your vocal at times when you tell me you don’t mind. I hope you don’t mind me admitting this. I just don't remember that element to it in the other version. Perhaps I'm just a horny toad...lol
Yes it all has that old style feel at times to it. Kinda 60’s folk pop stuff. The pauses are effective. And the Bass is pretty darn good and the back up vocals fit in nicely.
I guess when its all said and done its your lyrics that just captivate me here and the energy to this version doesn’t kill the deepness to the subject one jot… well maybe one but that said your band fucking rocks mate!!!!!

Bass does seem a bit awkward at first, in the sense that it is too bold or something like that but you get used to it after a bit. aahhh you sound luvly, i need a synth version of you hmmm there's an idea The backup vocals are great, raven said it is you, sounds like someone else to me You like getting on your knees don't you?? regardless of the situation Enjoyable piece here people, i dig it, so much that i wanna go rip it a part and show it my mouse Great stuff
PS: *fideling with me bass nob* - just incase the above didn't tickle your fancy

It is a nice song.
I'd have liked to here a deeper bass tone, that twangy sound makes it feel all top ended, just me maybe.
Guitars slightly out of tune?.
Apart from that little lot, I liked it

Great song. I had to play this one twice. Love the driving bass sound and the hand claps towards the end. Cool stuff.

'Just another day on crap TV'
Very cool tune!!!!
I"m not crazy about the tone of the bass guitar. It's distracting.
But the songwriting is fabulous.
The music reminds me somewhat of David Bowie. The vocals are expressive and I absolutely love the lyrics.
Excellent job.

I kinda have to agree w/ others on the bass, perhaps a bit too much chorus pedal? I disclose I'm not a fan of using a pick on that particular instrument...other than that, cool little tune.
